Entry Requirements for Cambodia: Can you get an E-visa for Cambodia?
The Government of Cambodia in 2006 launched the facilities of Cambodian e-visas for tourists to visit the country. Tourist e-visa and business e-visa are the two most common types of Cambodian e-visas that are mostly applied by the international visitors.
Cambodia Visa Online is an online travel permit to visit Cambodia for tourism or commercial purposes. International visitors must have a Cambodia e-Visa to be able to visit Cambodia. Foreign citizens can apply for an Cambodia e-Visa Application in a matter of minutes.
If you are coming to Cambodia as a traveler, you need a Cambodian tourist e-visa. It is a 30-day type T visa with 90-day validity.

What Are the Entry Requirements?
To successfully obtain and use a Cambodian e-Visa, a traveler must meet the following requirements:
A Valid Passport
The passport has to be valid for 6 months from your date of arrival in Cambodia, along with ample blank pages for the visa stamp on arrival.
Digital Photo
You'll need to upload a recent passport-style photograph that has a dimension of 4x6 cm and is not taken more than 6 months ago.
Completed Online Application
Fill out the Cambodia e-Visa application by providing the correct information that goes with details in your passport. If the information in your Cambodian passport doesn’t match with your Cambodian visa application form, the changes are that the application will be rejected.
Application Fee
Pay the application fee using a Debit card or Credit card.
Entry Points
Your e-Visa is only valid at certain entry points. For air travel, you can use it at the international airports given below:
- Sihanoukville
- Phnom Penh
- Siem Reap
Processing Time
Expect 3-5 business days for your application to be processed. There's no expedited service, so plan accordingly.
Printed Confirmation
Once approved, you'll receive your e-Visa electronically. Get this printed and keep it with yourself when you travel. It's also a good idea to have a digital copy on your smartphone.
Travelers planning to visit Cambodia for tourism or business for up to 30 days need to get an e-Visa (Electronic Travel Authorization). The Cambodian e-tourist visa lets you stay in Cambodia for 30 days, giving you plenty of time to explore its amazing attractions.
